Statement by (Al Saheefa Al Sadiqa) in Condemning and Denouncing the Film “Innocence of Muslims” Detrimental to Our Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him), the Seal of the Prophets

Date: 1 Dhu Al Qi’dah 1434 Hejra.

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, Mohammed, the seal of the prophets, and upon his scion and companions and those who follow them in good until the Day of Judgement.

Who lives in the West cannot remember even one word, whether a historical truth or an academic study about the Holocaust against the Jews, because the “anti-Semitic law” is waiting for him. Apply to this many examples which the West is treating as taboos for the human thought and the false liberties and freedom.

On the other hand, those who are seeking fame in their countries and full protection by their rules, climb on the back of Islam, his prophet and the Holy Book, through vilification, false allegations and detriment. They are showered with money, and are given the highest medals and accolades, and they are recognized at world forums!

Examples of this is what has recently been announced recently about the film  “Innocence of Muslims,” which is harmful to our Prophet, Mohammed, peace be upon him, and it is a source of suspicion in its finance, production, patronage and publicity. This has prompted Muslims in most of their countries to rise in anger to support their Prophet, out of their jealousy for him.

(Al Saheefa Al Sadiqa), in participating with the Muslim nation in taking the honour of defending our noble prophet and our good example for whom we are ready to sacrifice our lives and even our fathers and children, proposes a vision for the entire Muslim nation that gives the issue its true dimensions and outlines a path of Shari’a-based solutions:

  1. It should be understood that the detriment and harm caused by non-believers and the transgressors of the people of the Book will not stop or cease against Muslims and their religion, Prophet, Book and holy shrines under any circumstances. Allah, the Almighty, says: “Your shall certainly be tried and tested in your possessions and in yourselves and you shall certainly hear much that will grieve you from those who received the Book before you and from those who worship partners besides Allah.” (Al Imran “the Family of Imran”:186).

  1. Muslims will not be able to mitigate this harm or eliminate its motives, regardless of the concessions they are willing to offer, and irrespective of their keenness to maintain good relations.  Allah, the Almighty, says, “Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with you unless you follow their form of religion.” (Al Bqarah “the Heifer”: 120).

  1. What we hear following every treacherous incident and heinous act of this kind, from leaders of the Western world and its intellectuals, thinkers and decision makers is only an appeasement that is no more than lip service to absorb the anger of Muslims who rise in support for their religion and in jealousy for their Prophet, while the acts of these Westerns are wholeheartedly with those who cause harm to Islam and Muslims and who scorn the best man on earth. Allah, the Almighty, says: “How can they give such a covenant, seeing that if they get an advantage over you, they respect not in you the ties either of kinship or of covenant. With fair words from their mouths they please you, but their hearts are averse from you, and most of them are rebellious and wicked.” (Al Tauba “Repentance”: 8).

  1. In view of the above, the position taken by the Western world is a solid proof that it lacks all credibility, and that it goes back on its promises and defaults on its covenants.

  1. By monitoring what is going on in the Islamic word, we see clearly that many Muslim governments and their organizations and institutions let down their religion and are negligent in supporting their Prophet (peace be upon him), out of fear that the Western world will describe them as terrorists or that it will replace them. Allah, the Almighty, says: “Those in whose hearts is a disease, you see how eagerly they run about among them, saying: '“We do fear lest a change of fortune bring us disaster.” Ah! Perhaps Allah will give you victory, or a decision from him then will they regret of the thoughts which they secretly harboured in their hearts.” Al-Ma’ida, the Table: 52).

After this introduction, we say, with the grace of Allah, and with his guidance, as follows:

First: To the governments and peoples of the Western world: The Muslim nation has become sure that you are using two measures and playing on two ropes, and that your demerits and defects are now very clear to see, and that you will no longer be able to find those who cover them up for you from those who safeguard your interests and rule Muslim countries using your policies. Therefore, we do not want any good from you to our nation, religion, prophet, Book or history. We are hopeless of you. Only do good to yourselves by stopping your tongues from causing harm to our holy shrines and symbols, and by not interfering in our countries’ affairs. Your sun is about to set, and your civilization is on the decline. The successor to it will be, through Allah’s grace, Islam and its nation and Allah’s book and its carriers and the Messenger of Allah and his followers. Allah, the Almighty, says: “If you did well, you did well for yourselves; if you did evil, you did it against yourselves, so when the second of the warnings came to pass, we permitted your enemies to disfigure your faces, and to enter your Temple as they had entered it before, and to visit with destruction all that fell into their power.” (Al-Isra’ “The Night’s Journey”: 7).

Second: To the governments of the Muslim world: you know for sure and you have seen with your naked eyes, when people rose against you, that the West will not protect you or defend you. In fact, it let you down and turned away from you. Very soon it rode the wave and extended its hands to the new powers. So, why do you not mediate and think deeply, and forge good relations with your peoples, safeguard their religion, support their Prophet, try to liberate their holy shrines and rule the people with the law of the Lord of the people? Only then will Allah protect you and maintain your rule. You will find that your people are on your side. You have to know that Allah will protect you against the West and its aggression and power. The West will not protect you against Almighty Allah or protect you against the anger of your peoples.

Third: To the scholars and preachers of the Muslim world: Allah, the Almighty, has entrusted you will the mission of saying the truth in the service of the truth, and to enjoin good and forbid evil, and he opened the door for you to say the truth in a good way. Condemnation will not stop harm from our religion and denunciation will not undo the detriment caused to our Prophet. You have to share the nation its woes, by guiding it to the path of truth based on scientific evidence, and not to leave it fall victim to every attacker and a prey to every transgressor and renegade, manipulating and moving it on the street as they wish and play havoc with them. You are responsible for this nation and so you have to safeguard your trust and your people.

Fourth: As to you, the nation of monotheism and the carriers of the banner of Islam, you have to know that this insult will not inflict any harm on us, and this insult will not harm our Prophet (peace be upon him). Allah is sufficient unto Mohammed against the evil of the hypocrites “For sufficient are we unto you against those who scoff.” (Al Hijr “The Rocky Track”: 95) and he raised his name high in the Worlds. “We have raised high the esteem in which you are held.” (Al-Inshirah “The Expansion” :4, and put an end to his aggressive enemies. “For he who hates you, he will be cut off from further hope.” (Al Kawthar “Abundance”: 3). Therefore, you have to be patient and equip yourself with piety in order that Almighty Allah stave off harm from our religion and prevent insult from our Prophet and foil the plots of our enemies. (But if you are patient, and do right, not the least harm will their cunning do to you; for Allah compasses round about all that they do.” (Al Imran “the Family of Imran”:120). Allah will provide us with his support. “Yes, if you remain firm, and act aright, even if the enemy should rush here on you in hot haste, your Lord would help you with five thousand angels clearly marked. Allah made it but a message of hope for you, and an assurance to your hearts. In any case, there is no victory except from Allah, the Exalted, the Wise. That he might cut off a fringe of the unbelievers or expose them to infamy, and they should then be turned back frustrated of their purpose.”  (Al Imran “the Family of Imran”:125-227).

The following are examples of great jihad:

  • Preaching for Islam, by highlighting its merits and explaining its purposes and objectives, refuting the suspicious tricks of its adversaries, challenging its enemies and exposing their plots.

  • Spreading the Sunnah of the  Messenger of Allah in all fields, on all levels and in all languages. Our Messenger is a mercy to the world. (We sent you not, but as a mercy for all creatures.” (Al-Anbiya’ –“The Prophets”: 107).

On this basis, Al Saheefa Al Sadiqah has launched its global campaign, under the slogan “The Messenger of Allah is our example.” We call on our nation, governments, scholars and preachers to support us, and to proceed forward to ensure success to this blessed campaign, by explaining the merits or our Messenger, his way of life, mercy and character to the World. “If you help not the Prophet, it is no matter: for Allah did indeed help him, when the unbelievers drove him out: being the second of the two, they two were in the Cave, and he said to his companion ‘Have no fear, for Allah is with us.’ Then Allah sent down his peace upon him, and strengthened him with forces which you saw not, and humbled to the depths the world of the unbelievers. But the word of Allah is exalted to the heights, for Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.” (Al Taubah “Repentance”:40).

Our end of our prayer will be: praise to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds.
